Messing & Spector LLP is investigating whether Target and Dollar Tree raised their prices as a result of paying tariffs to the federal government, and whether consumers may be able to engage in litigation regarding these tariff payments. Recently, the Supreme Court held certain tariffs were illegal, and the companies received reimbursements or are working to receive reimbursements from the government of those tariff payments. They have not, however, agreed to give consumers a refund. If you experienced a price increase at these stores from February 1, 2025, to February 24, 2026, we are investigating potential litigation regarding tariffs. This litigation could potentially benefit consumers, including you.
